Understanding Behaviour Through The Lens Of Trauma

This workshop is for adults who work with children and young people of any age. It explores a range of strategies and practical tips that will help adults provide a safe scaffold that enables healthy social and emotional development.

Course Summary

This two hour workshop will provide further practical tools for adults working with young people in any setting. When delivered for a single setting we will consult with you to ensure we tailor the course to your specific needs. You may also wish to provide case studies in advance of the training.

Learning Outcomes

  • To look at how experience of trauma and attachment influences behaviour and development
  • To increase understanding of how this impacts learning
  • To explore a range of strategies and interventions that can help young people / children navigate the social, emotional and behavioural demands placed on them

Cost

Prices start from just £440 for a whole staff, two hour workshop, with bespoke packages and discounts on larger numbers available.  Individual places costing £49 per person can also be booked on our open courses where applicable.  Please contact us for more details.
