Staff Wellbeing & Support

We understand the challenges faced by staff working in schools and educational settings. Teaching, while incredibly rewarding, is known to be to be demanding and stressful, with high numbers of teachers leaving the profession each year.

As a crucial support system for children and young people, it’s vital for staff to prioritise their own wellbeing to be fully effective in their roles and for schools to have a stable staff team. Recognising this, we have developed a range of staff support programmes that promote positive mental health and work-life balance.

The main aims of our programmes are to:

  • Reduce stress
  • Increase productivity
  • Positively impact staff and students

We have developed a range of programmes to support staff in a variety of settings. These programmes fall into two categories.

  1. Direct support – this includes access to face-to-face or virtual counselling sessions.
  2. Direct reflective supervision – this includes providing regular opportunities for staff to reflect on their thoughts and feelings, helping to develop their self-awareness, reducing stress, and increase their resilience.

“The staff counselling has been excellent. One member used to have a significant amount of absence due to personal issues, but since seeing your counsellor they have not been absent once”
