We follow a comprehensive process to develop and support schools in implementing effective mental health support and guidance.
The process consists of four key phases, that work together to create a positive wellbeing culture:
Phase 1 – Scoping
We begin by assessing your current provision and defining wellbeing within your setting. The process is broken down into four half day sessions:
- Half Day Consultation – we meet with senior staff and governors to gain a deep understanding of your goals, aspirations and why you want to achieve them.
- Online surveys – distributed to staff and students to gather a diverse range of perspectives and ensure everyone’s voice is heard, and experience considered.
- Half Day Focus Groups – we meet with staff and students to identify specific needs and develop tailored strategies that address concerns effectively
- Half day Strategy Consultation – we meet with senior staff and governors to analyse findings and collaboratively develop an action plan that aligns with the School Improvement Plan
- Half Day Report – we provide you with a comprehensive report that highlights key findings, recommendations, and actionable steps.
After the consultation, we will work with you to develop a tailored wellbeing action plan.
Phase 2 – Operational Implementation
We focus on raising awareness among all staff, making mental health everyone’s business.
This phase is defined by empowering staff to develop early intervention programmes and encouraging the sharing of good practice.
Phase 3 – Programme Delivery
We help you implement your tailored strategy trough whole school and targeted interventions.
This includes cascading knowledge, providing self-help tools, and delivering effective programmes that address specific needs
Phase 4 – Quality Assurance
We emphasise the important of measuring impact and maintaining wellbeing standards. Through clinical assessment, ongoing monitoring, and evaluation, we ensure the effectiveness of the implemented programmes.
By engaging in our process, your school can expect a range of positive outcomes, including:
- Improved self-awareness, resilience, and mental health for both pupils and staff
- Reduced need for clinical intervention, ultimately cutting costs
- Improved educational outcomes through needs-led and evidence-based provision
- The creation of a positive wellbeing culture, resulting in reduced behavioural problems, increased staff retention, and alleviated stress
