Having the skills to share knowledge, tips and strategies with others is an important way to upskill and empower those that we work with. As professionals you will have specialisms and knowledge that is valuable to others and this course will help you develop the confidence write and present material to share with colleagues, parents and young people.
This one day course is designed to equip staff with the tools to develop and run their own workshops. It incorporates strategies to allow the confident development of course material and the ‘know how’ to deliver. This course will give you tips on how to handle a range of issues from thinking about diversity, how to handle difficult attendees and how to get maximum engagement from your target group.
