Our Housing Related Support (HRS) accommodation is here for young people across Ipswich – providing supported housing for single 16 to 21-year-olds for up to two years.
Residents will receive 24-hour support from our team of Key Workers. The aim is for residents to move on to independent living after their time with us, so our Key Workers will be help them through a short-term support plan, as well as provide them with practical advice and assistance so they can develop important life skills such as budgeting and seeking employment.
Young people who are seeking HRS will have join our self-contained flat community, where they will have their own bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom.
We hope that the skills learnt here with us will enable former residents to achieve a positive move on and sustain a tenancy agreement.
How to apply
If you are in need of accommodation and feel this accommodation is right for you then you will need to complete a HRS application.
HRS applications can now only be completed by either social workers/leaving care workers or the housing team within the borough council. If they do not have a relevant professional working with them for them to be able to complete the application then they need to contact Ipswich borough council directly and speak to someone within the housing team.
We do not accept direct applications.
