Mental Health Training and Workshops

Mental Health Training
with Real Community Impact

Invest in Your Team. Transform a Local Life.

If you are looking for practical, high-quality mental health training, YMCA Trinity Group provides expert-led courses designed to support workplace wellbeing, staff resilience, and the mental health of children and young people.

Why choose a charity for your training? In the current economic climate, fundraising has become increasingly difficult due to the cost-of-living crisis. Yet, the need for social impact is greater than ever. As our Chief Operating Officer, Amanda Butterworth, explains: “Charities are seeing their costs rise, and yet funding isn’t increasing to match the needs of our communities“.

To bridge this gap, we have developed our training programmes as an alternative fundraising string to our bow. We operate very leanly so that all resources are focused on delivering services where there are levels of deprivation and a lack of opportunities for young people.

When you book a workshop, you aren’t just upskilling your staff; you are directly funding:

Safe Housing

Support for residents and care leavers in Peterborough, Cambridge, and Ipswich.

Mental Health Support

Therapeutic counselling and early-years intervention for children at every life stage.

Community Spaces

Safe environments like the Shine Project and YMCA Youth Cresset, where young people are seen, heard, and valued.

By choosing YMCA Trinity Group, you give young people a fair chance to discover who they are and what they have the potential to become

Our Community Impact

What does purchasing a training course mean to the local community?

YMCA Trinity Group is a registered charity working to strengthen mental health, wellbeing and opportunity across the communities we serve. Each year, our services support thousands of children, young people and families through early intervention, emotional wellbeing support, mentoring and targeted programmes designed to prevent problems from escalating.

Our work focuses on providing practical help at the earliest stage, supporting young people with their mental health, building resilience, reducing isolation and helping individuals develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive. We work closely with schools, local authorities, community partners and voluntary organisations to reach those who need support most, particularly young people facing disadvantage, anxiety, low confidence or complex life challenges.

Income generated through our mental health training is reinvested directly into these community services. By choosing YMCA Trinity Group, your organisation is not only developing the skills and wellbeing of your staff, but also helping to fund vital mental health support, early intervention programmes and life-changing opportunities for young people and families.
Your training investment creates a wider social impact – strengthening both your organisation and the communities you serve.
