Since the start of the contract on 1st November, We have received numerous positive emails from residents who outlined how supported they felt by staff, praising the fantastic work and the caring and supportive nature of staff on duty.
Stuart has been busy networking and recently attend the Safer Off the Streets annual meeting. This is a meeting of all agencies around Peterborough that help support and prevent homelessness and young people. As part of this partnership, Stuart managed to secure funding for a Defib that will be attached to the building at The Cresset! This vital piece of life saving equipment will go a long way to further support our residents as well as the wider community.
The Peterborough Accommodation Team have also been donated 2 laptops by Computers 4 Charities. These have been used to help residents completing AQA’s as well as helping to complete every day tasks that require access to online platforms or learning. Accommodation manager Stuart Bowell accepted the donations. You can see his interview here:
Time Stop also accepted a donation of over £2000 worth of food! This was very kindly donated by the staff at Sainsbury’s who had so much they had to make 3 trips! This has since been used in cooking AQA’s, resident lunches as well as helping residents who did not have funds for food. Thank you Sainsburys!
