Family Work

Please see below for an update on our Childcare services regarding COVID-19:

“As you know, the nation will be entering another lockdown from November 5th to December 2nd. We would like to reassure all our parents and carers that the Childcare provision we offer at our 6 sites will continue during these four weeks. Unlike the first lockdown in March which saw only vulnerable and key worker children attend, the Childcare sites will be accessible to all children during this time. If you have any concerns, or questions, about how we are providing a COVID safe environment for your child please speak to a member of staff at your Childcare setting and they will be happy to share our procedures with you. Stay safe and we look forward to continuing our work with you and your child this year.”

Kim Streater – Childcare Programme Manager

Being part of a healthy, stable family gives a young person the best start in life. Across YMCA Trinity Group we offer a range of support to families including six fully operational childcare settings providing places for 238 children on a daily basis.

To meet growing demand, we continue to invest in mental health training and interventions, offering much needed support to students and teachers in schools and colleges.

Our youth work offer has continued to expand across YMCA Trinity Group, operating in both community venues and schools. We currently offer youth support in 33 schools and 12 venues, with a mobile van providing additional support to families and young people where it is most needed, particularly during school holidays.
