This workshop is for any professional who liaises with parents and other Mental Health about the children / young /people that they care for. Building collaborative relationships and good communication are key aspects of safeguarding the young people and children in our care. Developing these skills will support staff in a wide range of situations.
Course Summary
Collaboration can be hard to achieve at times as there are many barriers that can get in the way. When this happens the needs of the child can be get lost. This session will explore the benefits of collaboration and look at the barriers that may get in the way. It then offers strategies and skills that can help overcome them so that effective and helpful relationships can be built.
