COVID-19 update:

We are committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of all of our clients, residents and staff. In light of the latest Government guidance in relation to COVID-19, we would like to reassure you that we are working hard to keep our services going as far as we can.

However, in regards our Childcare services please read:

Following the recent announcement from the government regarding the closure of schools and early years’ settings YMCA Childcare will be keeping the following sites open for key people, those who provide fundamental services and specific families as directed by the Government.

The list of the sites, opening hours and ages are as follows:

YMCA Childcare Providence, Ipswich: 8.30am – 5pm (0-12 years)

YMCA Childcare St Margaret’s Road, Lowestoft: 8.30am – 4pm (0-12 years)

YMCA Childcare Exning Road, Newmarket: 8.30am – 4.30pm (0-12 years)

YMCA Childcare Blinco Grove, Cambridge: 8.30am – 4pm (0-5 years)

Our YMCA Childcare settings are making every effort to contact all parents and carers in response to this in order to work out which families we will be able to provide care for from Monday 23 March. If you have not received a call from us by Monday 23 March and you feel you fit into the relevant categories, please contact your settings Childcare Manager to discuss further.

Everyone at YMCA Childcare would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding at this difficult time.

Regarding our gyms and fitness classes:

Following government guidance, all of our YMCA Trinity Group gyms will be closed after Friday 20 March until further notice.

We also understand many members may wish to cancel or suspend their memberships at this time. We would love it if you would continue to support YMCA Gym, as the fees you pay will allow the charity to go on supporting young and vulnerable people in our community.

Visit our Facebook pages for some online classes and tips for exercising at home for those who are self isolating:

YMCA Trinity Group is part of a federation of over 116 YMCAs across England and Wales. Our vision is to help create supportive, inclusive and transforming communities where young people can truly belong, contribute and thrive.

Inspiring young lives since 1852.
