Pay £18401.61
Hours 40hrs per week on a rota basis that will include weekends and Bank Holidays between the hours of 10:00pm – 8:00 am.

Job Role

This is a county wide position, but the general base of work will be Bury St Edmunds.

We are recruiting an Accommodation night worker to work within our Accommodation based in Bury St Edmunds site (16-25yrs group).

 

We are looking for someone reliable to oversee our accommodation at night and to support clients with neighbour disputes, licence compliance, behavioural difficulties, and health and safety issues. The person should be creative and dynamic with the ability to “think outside the box” when providing solution.

 

You will need to have a strong sense of professional boundaries and some understanding of issues relating to young people’s needs and homelessness including challenges young people might be facing is essential. Keeping clear shift and support records is important, so you will need to be able to communicate well in writing as well as face to face.

 

You will need to be confident working alone without supervision, and monitoring the site with patrols and CCTV. You are required to maintain a watchful, supportive and safe presence, responding to issues as they arise.

 

Permanent Contract: 40hrs per week on a rota basis that will include weekends and Bank Holidays between the hours of 10.00pm – 8.00 am.

 

Please note that this post is based in Bury St Edmunds however your own car with business insurance is an essential requirement as at times you are required to travel countywide.

 

Salary: £18401.61
