Job Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our wider accommodation team. We are looking to recruit a full-time Safeguarding Manager who will primarily be responsible for ensuring consistent practice across our services and providing expertise and support in complex cases.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of managing in a social care setting. You will have extensive knowledge of children’s and/or adults’ social care and the complexities that our young people face day to day.

You will be driven to improve outcomes for young people and can manage, develop and enhance the performance of the teams to evidence the impact of our work.

Having the ability to address areas for improvement is critical to the role, and the successful candidate will demonstrate the skills and knowledge to drive the safeguarding work for the accommodation teams.

Being able to think creatively will be strongly encouraged in this role to support the work that is required to improve outcomes for young people and to successfully work in collaboration with wider services to evidence the impact of this.

We are able to offer hybrid working and an office base at either Peterborough, Cambridge or Ipswich. The successful candidate would need to be able to travel to each of our bases to work closely with our local teams.
