YMCA Trinity Group has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, skilled, enthusiastic and committed Deputy Childcare Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to support our Childcare Manager to lead our Newmarket childcare provision. The successful candidate will be imaginative, have vision, drive and the ability to motivate. They will be flexible, approachable and able to demonstrate professional leadership and management as well as being able to demonstrate outstanding knowledge of the standards required by Ofsted.
Applicants should have the following qualities:
- Qualified with a relevant Early Years degree, or equivalent
- A minimum of three years post qualifying experience
- At least two years’ management experience
- A thorough knowledge of current legislation, guidance and standards relating to early years
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent IT skills
Days and hours
This role is to be worked Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week and is Term Time plus 2 weeks (40 weeks a year).
