Job Role


YMCA Trinity Group has an exciting opportunity for a Childcare Manager for a period of cover for maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed candidate to lead our childcare settings and dedicated practitioners in Lowestoft.

Skills and Experience


In summary, successful applicants will have the following qualities:

Be skilled, imaginative, have vision and be able to motivate a large team, whilst demonstrating they have experience of delivering high quality care and education.

The Childcare Manager will also need to be flexible, approachable, and able to demonstrate professional leadership and management as well as being able to demonstrate outstanding knowledge of the standards required by Ofsted.

  • Qualified with a relevant Early Years degree, or working towards a relevant Early Years degree
  • A minimum of three years post qualifying experience
  • A thorough knowledge of legislation, guidance and standards relating to early years
  • Experience of managing other people, including volunteers
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent IT skills
