Job Role

 

The team at YMCA Childcare Water Lane are looking for someone…

 

  • who wants to begin their career in childcare,
  • who is passionate about supporting young children and families to have the best start in life,
  • who is eager to learn about child development from highly skilled and motivated practitioners,
  • And most of all, someone who wants to have fun and be part of a fantastic team.

 

Skills and Experience

 

In summary, the successful applicant will have the following qualities:

  • Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Childcare, with the possibility of progressing onto Level 3
  • The ability to work alone, and as part of a team
  • Be able to demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm towards achieving positive outcomes for our families
  • Have a Level 4+ GCSE in Maths and English
  • Be sympathetic to the aims and purposes of YMCA Trinity Group

Day and Hours

 

This role is for 37.5 hours per week, all year round. Hours of work will be 7.45am-4.30pm Monday-Friday.


Salary and Benefits

 

The salary for this role is £9,633 per year.
