An opportunity for Full Time work, Monday to Friday with some weekend working. Working with and supporting young Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers as part of our wider Accommodation Team.
THE ROLE The role will include key-working individuals, as well as engaging all of the young people who live within our projects, supporting them to develop socially, personally and spiritually in order that they may grow in confidence and independence.
Accommodation Project Workers are required to ensure that all residents receive an appropriate level of support and training according to their individual needs and assist our residents to access education, employment, training, and voluntary work experience where applicable.
Through delivering life skills training you will give young people the skills and knowledge they need to move on to more independent accommodation and resettle them in their new home.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience working with a similar client group and an understanding of the needs and challenges these young people may be facing is essential. Experience of delivering group work sessions is desirable. You will need a current knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for young people.

Days and hours
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours per week, working on a rota basis.
Please note: an essential requirement for this role is the need to have a current driving licence and access to your own car with business insurance.

The salary for this role is £20,265 per year, additional benefits we offer include:
