Job role

 

The role will include key-working individuals, as well as engaging the young people who live within the projects and supporting them to develop socially, personally and spiritually in order that they may grow in confidence and independence.

You will be required to ensure that all residents receive an appropriate level of support and training according to their individual needs; and will assist residents to access education, employment, training, and voluntary work experience.

You will be required to interview potential residents then support them to devise their own support plan (Pathway Plan). Through delivering life skills training, you will be giving young people the skills and knowledge; they need to move on to accommodation that is more independent and resettle into the community.

Experience working with a similar client group and an understanding of the needs and challenges these young people face is essential. Experience delivering group work sessions is desirable. Full induction and training would be given.

Shifts for this role will include working Monday to Friday, Bank Holidays & occasional weekends. Accommodation Project workers do on-call on rota basis.

Days and hours

 

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours per week, working on a Monday to Friday basis. Shift pattern to include Early, Mid and Lates.

The salary for this role is £20,264 per year. Additional benefits include:
