Pay: £30,866 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with some weekend working on a rota basis.

Our Accommodation site in Cambridge has 80 rooms, providing a home for 16-25 year olds. We have a fantastic team of accommodation workers, providing ongoing support and encouragement to the young people living at Queen Anne House, which is located in the centre of Cambridge by Parkers Piece, easy to get to via public transport, or if you travel by car we have free onsite car parking too.

 

For our teams we will ensure our policies and procedures are truly inclusive and work to ensure our environment is a place where everyone can thrive.

Job Role

 

We are recruiting for an Accommodation Manager to work full-time overseeing the running of our Queen Ann House site, including all contracts relating to the delivery of the Accommodation services.

Our accommodation team work with, and support young people to develop socially, personally and holistically, building their confidence and independence.

As Accommodation Manager you will lead, nurture, and develop the accommodation team to deliver a high quality, person-centred housing support service to young people.

The Accommodation Manager will build relevant internal and external partnerships to develop a creative and forward-thinking service that meets the needs of young people in our care.

 

Skills and Experience

 

In summary, the successful applicant will have the following qualities:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience of line managing complex teams within a similar field.
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, including influencing and negotiating with key stakeholders and the ability to work collaboratively and inclusively
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team and build proactive relationships and be able with colleagues from differing disciplines
  • Ability to drive new initiatives and bring creative thinking and approaches to the work
