Job Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a kitchen assistant to work in our kitchen at YMCA Trinity group. You will assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of kitchen duties, work well as a team and be able to work flexible hours when required.

As a Kitchen Assistant with YMCA Trinity Group you will assist the kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals. Working in our small but busy team you will be required to keep the kitchen, serving area and tables clean and clear following the cleaning schedule as directed by the catering manager.

You should have the following qualities:

  • Be able to cook for large numbers of people
  • The ability to communicate clearly and appropriately, face to face with people from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene
