Ten Sing is an informal performing arts project, run for young people and by young people.

Ten Sing offers the opportunity to become involved in a variety of creative and performing arts activities from singing and music, to dance and drama. Participation is more important than ability – there is no audition.

Cambridge Ten Sing meets in term time on Thursday evenings, from 7:30pm – 9pm at Histon Baptist Church (CB24 9LN). All young people in School Year 7 or above are welcome and may join at any time of year.

The group have several major performances each year:

  • Hosting their Annual Concert in March
  • Entertaining the runners at the London Marathon in April.
  • Attending the National Ten Sing Festival in October.

In addition, they take part in local events, like village fairs and church services.

Bi-annually they have the opportunity to go on a team building event (usually abroad) as a group and join a couple of thousand young people at the European Ten Sing Festival.

Although the group is led by young people, there are always DBS checked adults present.
