Exning Road

Our Exning Road provision caters for children aged 3 months to 12 years and is open all year round. We can hold up to 48 children at any one time and offer Breakfast club and after school club, where we can drop off and pick up from Laureate Academy and Paddocks Primary school.

Our setting has the Acorns room downstairs which caters for children age 3 months to 2 years old. The children then transition into the Oaks room at around the age of 2 years old, depending on their development.

Throughout the nursery we encourage independence allowing the children the time to practice new skills. We provide an environment full of praise and encouragement where children are given the opportunity to make their own choices and to reach their full potential. We offer a range of different activities to suit each child’s developmental level and interests.

I love the sense of family I get from working for YMCA. I am supported with my Professional Development and valued for my knowledge and experience. I enjoy the opportunities to work with other areas of the organisation to try and ensure the children get the very best start to their early years. I love to involve the community around our settings and am always looking for ways that our children can get involved with local events.

My favourite things to do with the children are messy play, singing, making up our own stories and playing outside!
