eMploY-ABILITY – Community Engagement Champion

YMCA Trinity Group seeks support for our Building Better Opportunities, eMploY-ABILITY, from people across our delivery areas of Peterborough, Kings Lynn, West Norfolk and Fenland – people in organisations, employers, stakeholder and those with a general interest, or might be based in a community which has been hard to reach, with connections, knowledge and interest in our BBO programme.

In return, we aim to make this a positive experience, where your valuable contribution to this community focused programme will be recognised, and ideally you will have gained some learning for yourself.

Each partner will have specific needs and a brief relevant to them.

The Community Engagement Champions’ will be suitably guided and supported by the partner. Some activities will be set by the ‘programme lead’ and details communicated as needed.

Opportunities will be varied and include those that involve field activity and office based – that can be tailored to ensure that the opportunity is accessible to all, they might be:

  • Support key workers
  • Attend engagement events
  • Take part in forums
  • Provide feedback on knowledge gained, experience
  • Provide administrative support
