YMCA Trinity Group recognises the devastating impact of domestic violence on young people, parents, families and communities. The Respect project ran from May 2017 to March 2020 and supported hundreds of people to help increase awareness, education and understanding, to break patterns of destructive behaviour and to support victims. The Break 4 Change project worked with young people who were the perpetrators of domestic violence in their homes, supporting the parents / carers and the young people to build healthy relationships and break behaviour patterns.

We are immensely proud of the impact this work had on the young people and families we engaged with and while the project is currently closed, we are keen to explore potential for future work in this area.
