Understanding Behaviour Through The Lens Of Trauma (Formerly known as Classroom Strategies for Mental Health) Support

This workshop is for delegates who have attended one of our introductory workshops, it offers further practical strategies to help support children’s social and emotional development in order to enhance their learning.


Course summary


This two hour workshop will build on prior training in mental health awareness to provide further practical tools for adults working in a classroom setting. When booked for a whole setting we will consult with yourselves to ensure we tailor the course to your specific needs. You may also wish to provide case studies in advance of the training in order for the trainer to address the specific needs of a particular setting.

  • To understand the importance of children’s social and emotional well-being in the classroom
  • To understand the relationship between emotional well-being and effective learning
  • To explore effective classroom strategies and key interventions when working with children with social, emotional and behavioural challenges
