Classroom Strategies for Mental Health Support Workshop
6 May (4-6pm) at Barrington C of E Primary School, CB22 7RG (£30 per person)
This workshop is for delegates who have attended one of our introductory workshops, or have had training from another provider, and are looking for further practical strategies to help support children’s social and emotional development in order to enhance their learning.
The two hour workshop will build on prior training in mental health awareness to provide further practical tools for adults working in a classroom setting. This course will require prior consultation with the setting in order to ensure that staff leave with effective and appropriate strategies for their classrooms. Staff may also wish to provide case studies in advance of the training in order for the trainer to address the specific needs of a particular setting.
Offered as part of our ‘Enhanced Stage 2’ training, and available as either an open workshop (view dates), or as bespoke session for whole staff teams, they help delegates to:
- Understand the importance of children’s social and emotional well-being in the classroom
- Understand the relationship between emotional well-being and effective learning
- To explore effective classroom strategies and key interventions when working with children with social, emotional and behavioural challenges.
Individual places are available for just £30 per person, or you can book the in-house programme from only £400. Further discounts are available should you host an open course. Contact 01733 373187 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
By booking a bespoke course you will also gain access to free Level 2 accredited training as part of our distance learning programme. Alternatively, we can tailor the course to whole staff teams or clusters of schools.
