Pay £19.838.46 + £56 per sleep-in
Hours 37.5 hrs per week on a rota basis that will include days, Sleep-ins, weekends and Bank Holidays

Job Role

We are recruiting an Accommodation support worker to work within our Accommodation team based in Stowmarket.

 

The role will include key-working individuals, as well as engaging all of the young people who live within the projects and supporting them to develop socially, personally and spiritually in order that they may grow in confidence and independence.

 

You will be required to ensure that all residents receive an appropriate level of support and training according to their individual needs; and will assist residents to access education, employment, and training and voluntary work experience where applicable. You will be required to interview potential residents and support them to devise their own support plan (Pathway Plan). Through delivering life skills training you will give young people the skills and knowledge they need to move on to more independent accommodation and resettle them in their new home.

 

Experience of working with a similar client group and an understanding of the needs and challenges these young people may be facing is essential. Experience of delivering group work sessions is desirable.

 

Permanent Contract: 37.5 hrs per week on a rota basis that will include days, Sleep-ins, weekends and Bank Holidays – 52 weeks per year on a rota basis

 

Please note that this post is based in Stowmarket however your own car with business insurance is an essential requirement as you may be required to travel.

 

Salary: £19.838.46 + £56 per sleep-in
