Job Role

This role will include managing, supervising and inducting assistant accommodation project workers and accommodation relief workers. You will also have a case load of residents to support.

We are looking for someone reliable and efficient with a ‘can do attitude’ to support young people living within the CYPS houses. The role also involves supporting staff to deal with behavioural difficulties, and health and safety issues.

The successful candidate will be creative and dynamic with the ability to ‘think outside the box’ when providing solutions. As an accommodation project worker you will need to have a strong sense of professional boundaries and some understanding of issues relating to young people’s needs and homelessness including the daily challenges young people face. Keeping clear shift and support records is important, so you will need to be able to communicate well in writing, as well as face to face. You will need to have a good understanding of policies and procedures.

In return we are offering 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled in between the hours of 7am – 11pm and worked on a rota basis which include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You will be required to drive at times so a clean, current driving licence is essential.
